Gen Z and millennials social skills
Gen Z and millennials social skills
Course summary
Some young adults are struggling with everyday conversations and other basic forms of social interactions. Whether it is making small talk with strangers, holding eye contact or just answering a phone call, Gen Zs and millennials are declaring that dealing with other people is not always easy and that they need help to “fix” their awkwardness. No matter what the reasons are for why social interactions are harder for young adults than even before, we stand to lose much if we do not find a way to connect again. At Corpele we help build self-confidence by teaching participants practical conversational skills through participatory workshops and role play scenarios.
When completed, you should be able to:
- Apply effective communication strategies to navigate professional and social environments.
- Demonstrate improved interpersonal skills and the ability to read group dynamics.
- Confidently start a conversation and master the art of making small talk.
- Overcome the fear of phone calls and handle verbal communication with poise.
- Practice proper table manners and social etiquette in various settings.
- Utilise networking skills to build meaningful professional connections.
- Execute polished "meet and greet" protocols in any business or social context.
- Exude self-confidence and a strong sense of respect for self and others.
